Brechas de Género en el Mercado Laboral en Euskadi
The gender gap in the labor market refers to the differences that exist between women and men in different areas of the labor market, such as activity rate, type of workday or salary.
Although evidence shows that the differences between women and men have significantly narrowed in several parameters of the labor market in recent decades, the situation is far from being equitable. In particular, wage differences are still notable and their temporal evolution does not show appreciable signs of convergence.
This report, carried out together with Emakunde – Basque Women’s Institute, carries out an exhaustive study of gender gaps in the labor market in Euskadi.
