Ainhoa Osés Arranz is a Researcher at ISEAK. Ainhoa has over 3 years’ experience in fiscal policy, first at the Spanish Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) in Madrid and later in its Irish counterpart, the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council. Besides contributing to a number of publications on fiscal policy evaluation, she has also authored different papers on demographic projections. For Spain, Ainhoa coauthored the first paper published by AIReF on the modeling and long-term projections of fertility rates and survival probabilities. For Ireland, she published a paper on long-term migration projections based on world data on bilateral migration flows. Ainhoa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Basque Country, where she received the extraordinary prize in Economics, and she also holds a Master in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2016. Her Master’s Thesis assessed the impact—in terms of well-being and health—of staying within the labour market for individuals aged over the legal retirement age in Sweden, based on data from the European Social Survey.
