Ana Revenga is a Senior Fellow in Global Economy and Development at the Brookings Institution and an Associate Professor at Brown University. Until 2017, she was the Deputy Chief Economist of the World Bank Group. In her 26-year career at the World Bank, she has worked in a number of senior management and technical positions, including as Senior Director of the Poverty and Equity Global Practice, being in charge of all technical teams working on poverty and equity issues. She has published and worked extensively on employment, gender, globalisation, inequality, social protection, poverty and trade issues, working in a wide range of countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. Ana holds a PhD and an MA in Economics from Harvard University, a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Wellesley College and a certificate in Human Rights from the University of Geneva Law School. Since joining ISEAK in 2018,, she is the President of the Board of ISEAK.
