Lucía Gorjón works at ISEAK evaluating the impact of economic and social policies. Her fields of research are labour market, gender and poverty. She received a (Cum Laude) PhD in Economics in the University of the Basque Country under the supervision of Sara de la Rica. She started her career in FEDEA; she has also been Guest Researcher at the Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) in collaboration with the World Bank. In ISEAK she coordinates several projects with national and regional public institutions and organizations of the third sector. In particular she has evaluated the impact of several public policies aimed at groups at risk, such as the Minimum Income Schemes, Active Labour Market Policies, training programs for young people and gender gaps. Lucia Gorjón was named in 2019 one of the 29 Spanish under 35 called to revolutionize technology, finance and politics by Business Insider.
