Sara de la Rica is the current Director of ISEAK. De la Rica is also Professor of Economics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), as well as associate researcher at national and international centres of reference, such as IZA (Institute for the Study of Labour – Bonn) and CreAM (Centre for Immigration Research – London). She was President of the European Society for Population Economics (ESPE) in 2012, President of the Committee for the Economic Study of Women (COSME) in 2012 and 2013, and co-editor of the academic journal Journal Iza of European Studies, 2012-2016. She has collaborated in projects with national and Basque labour institutions, as well as with the European Commission in Projects on the Activation of the Unemployed. Her most relevant studies cover Gender, Immigration, Unemployment, Labour Institutions and the Future of Employment. She has published in many international academic journals, all of them available on her personal website.
