Francisco Pérez García is a Full Professor of Economic Analysis at the University of Valencia, and a research director of the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE). In November 2010 he received the VIII Premi Societat Catalana d’Economia and in 2016 the High Distinction “Francesc de Vinatea” from the Cortes Valencianas. His specialization fields are economic growth, competitiveness, regional economics, educational economics and public finance. He has published seventy books in collaboration with other authors, and around two hundred papers in national and international specialized journals. He has six recognized research productivity sections, and his publications’ citations generate an H index of 31. He has directed ten doctoral theses and more than a hundred research projects. One of these projects is the UE’s Research & Development National Plan.
