Impact evaluation of tourism events in Euskadi

Partner Department of Tourism, Commerce and Consumption - Basque Government

This project is contextualized in the Strategic Plan of the Department of Tourism, Commerce and Consumption of the Basque Government. Specifically, its objective is to get to know the impact that certain events cause in the accommodation receivers, according to the characteristics of the event. This information is key to improve decision-making when planning, managing and developing future events in Euskadi and, ultimately, to comply with the “2030 Vision” of the Department, which aims to promote the development of a destination of excellence and specialization, which brings high value to tourists and sustainable prosperity to Basque society, business people, employees and the environment.
