Sara de la Rica

I work in Fundación ISEAK evaluating the impact of social and economic politics and my research fields are: labor market, gender and poverty.

I am Laude Doctor in Economics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) under de supervision of Sara de la Rica. I started my professional career at FEDEA and I have been visiting researcher at the German Development Institute (DIE) in cooperation with the World Bank.

In ISEAK I am researcher and coordinator of multiple projects, on which we collaborate with national and regional public institutions and third sector organisations. Specifically, I have evaluated de impact of different public politics tailored to certain groups at risk of exclusion, highlighting the minimum income, active employment politics, formations programs direct to young people and gender gaps.

In 2019 I was appointed as one of the 29 Spanish women under 35 years old called to revolutionize the technology, finances and policy by Business Insider.

To do this, we generate academic knowledge about existing inequalities, always based on the evidence offered by the data, and we transfer it with Independence and Rigour to society in general and in particular to those with responsibilities in making social and economic policy decisions.

Our strength lies in the method of work. We are specialists in the treatment of complex data and in the evaluation of economic policy measures. We transfer this knowledge to move towards a less unequal, more modern and inclusive society.
